Services Of Flame Tree Enviro

Ecological Survey and Monitoring
Our ecologists have several years experience in threatened species monitoring, rehabilitation monitoring and offset site monitoring.
With direct experience in NSW Government Saving our Species, we have a thorough understanding of threatened species conservation management and monitoring.
We also have demonstrated experience in mine rehabilitation and conservation offset site monitoring, as well as the preparation of management plans.

Ecological impact assessment
Ecological survey and impact assessment has been at the core of our services for many years.
With a thorough understanding of threatened ecosystem, flora and fauna species habitat, we can fulfil all survey requirements and impact assessments.
This includes the preparation of Biodiversity Development Assessment Reports (BDARS) and Tests of Significance (5 Part Tests) pursuant to the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 and the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.

Biodiversity Stewardship Site Assessment
We have several years experience in assessing offset sites, including credit calculations and preparation of offset reports (Biodiversity Stewardship Site Assessment Reports).
We also have good links to NSW Government agencies such as the Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT) and can assist in due diligence assessments to evaluate the demand for ecosystem and species credits that may exist on a property.

Vegetation Management Plans and Koala Plans of Management
With a foundation in restoration ecology and a thorough understanding of the resilience of a given site and what land management techniques are appropriate to restore or management vegetation on a given site.
If a Koala Plan of Management is required as per Koala SEPP 2021, we can also assist with this.

Bushfire Management Plans and Risk Assessments
With a thorough understanding of bushfire policy and extensive knowledge and observations on how ecosystems respond to fire (including fire responsive threatened species), Flame Tree can provide best practice and evidence-based approaches for Bushfire Management Plans on both conservation land and properties in general. Flame Tree can also provide Bushfire Risk due diligence/constraints assessments, Bushfire Risk Assessments for subdivisions and BAL Certificates.
